Ideas for making the world
a better place

I'm making the world a better place
  1. Call a classmate who is sick in bed to see how he/she is feeling.
  2. Invite someone who is eating alone to join you at your next lunch period.
  3. Offer to help a friend who’s having trouble with the latest math problems.
  4. Stand up for someone who’s being treated unfairly.
  5. Treat disabled people with respect.
  6. Help someone laugh.
  7. Treat your brothers or sisters as if they were your friends.
  8. Spend an hour at a homeless shelter or a shelter for abused children.
  9. Volunteer some time at a local food bank.
  10. Tell at least one person today that you appreciate him/her.
  11. Pick up litter everywhere you see it.
  12. Set the table, do the dishes, or clean your room without being asked.
  13. Help your younger brother or sister with homework.
  14. Give a flower or something pretty to someone you care about.
  15. Visit residents of a nursing home.

There are a million more things you can do to make the world a better place. Feel free to choose from the list above or use one of your own. BE CREATIVE!!
